Incheon Supporting Headquarters for Asian Games, which is operating Supporting Asian Sport-weak nation program 『OCA-Incheon Vision 2014 Program』, invited Turkmenistan Wrestling team, implemented field training in Incheon from May 18th to June 8th and held completion ceremony.

 

This field training is taught by Coach SangminYoo from Incheon Environment Corporation which is consists of Greco-Roman style team. After every players had controlling training intensity to fit level of them, technical training with appropriate partner and practice game for improving skills, every 3 players (3 males) were evaluated that they improved skills greatly.

 

 

 

 

Coach Sergey from Turkmenistan giving his thought about this field training in completion ceremony, and he said "I really appreciated for inviting us for this field training in Incheon, Korea where is famous for wrestling.", and "This field training was really helpful for improving skills of Turkmenistan team and thanks for coach and partner players who participated training together.". It was good opportunity to strengthen cooperation of friendship between the two nations through field training.

 

Incheon gave certificates and memorial tablets to reward player’s hard work in training without safety accident during the period of Invited Field Training and provided 'Dandong soccer shoes' which is symbol of reconciliation of north and south. Player Arslan who was improved greatly in this field training, said he will go back with taking pride of being participated in field training in Korea and he will practice hard for good score in Asian Games this year. 
 

 

 

Incheon is focusing on operating field training business which accords with motto of vision program 'equal development of Asia sports' and can maximize usefulness to hold Incheon Asian Games successfully. Meanwhile, they pushed forward field training with Taekwondo team of Cambodia, Yemen and weightlifting team of Iraq, Mongolia gradually. Moreover, after Wrestling team of Turkmenistan, Archery team of Vietnam (6.2~6.20), Taekwondo team of Tadjikistan (6.5~6.26) and Fencing team of Malaysia (6.9~6.29) is invited to Incheon and on field trip now.

Incheon will push forward active field training business in variety of events for sports-weak nation such as Afghanistan, Laos, and Bhutan until before September when 2014 Asian Games is held.

 

Incheon appreciates to the persons concerned of 『OCA-Incheon Vision 2014 Program』for receiving high praise that Vision program is operating successfully by OCA and every country’s NOC. In addition, they congratulates that Turkmenistan players finished field training successfully through overcoming difficult conditions such as cultural difference in Incheon. Incheon hopes those players become representative player of Turkmenistan by personal improvement of ability training continuously in their own country.
